Troop 484 is a Boy-Led Troop
We meet Monday evenings from 7 to 8:30 PM at Joint Base Charleston. We are currently meeting at 103 Graves Ave on Joint Base Charleston, but are looking for a more permanent location.
We plan a campout every month with a week-long Summer Camp and a Fun Trip in the summer.
The boys pick monthly themes to focus their weekly Troop meetings, sometimes they will be Merit Badge themes--other times they are simply subjects which interest the boys.
The boys plan a ski trip every January.
Scouts may plan and participate in High Adventure Trips. 5 Scouts and 2 adults most recently went to Sea Base in the Florida Keys for Spring Break 2022 and spent 6 days/5 nights on a sailboat, fishing and snorkeling various locations in the Keys.
Membership averages between 20 and 30 Scouts.
The Troop provides Den Chiefs and routinely receives graduates from surrounding Cub Packs.
